I hope that you and your family have remained well through these times of Covid. Despite the government lifting legal requirements of mask-wearing and isolating, in the medical professions we are still under strict guidance in order to mitigate the risks of Covid, so as to keep ourselves and our patients safe.
Covid-19:
If you have tested positive for Covid-19 or suspect that you are positive, please inform me and DO NOT come to your appointment, even if your symptoms are mild.
Video consultation:
I am now offering 30 min video consultations via Zoom or WhatsApp for £45.
Day of appointment:
Please can you wait in your car or in the car park until your exact appointment time so there is no chance of crossover in the clinic. This will also give me time to disinfect the room between patients.
Treatment room safety:
I will be wearing a disposable apron, disposable gloves and fluid resistant mask. The treatment table will be covered with a single-use paper disposable towel and disinfected after every use.
Patients MUST wear a mask to their appointments and will be asked to purchase one (£1.50) if you don’t have one. On entering please sanitise your hands and (excluding the bathroom) I will open doors for you. Please do not bring other family members/friends into the clinic unless required and pre-authorised. They will also need their faces covered.
The main symptoms of (but not limited to) coronavirus are:
Cold-like symptoms: Which include runny nose, sneezing and sore throat.
Headache
A high temperature: This means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature.)
A new, continuous cough: This means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: This means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
Fatigue (mild or severe): This means a noticeable reduction in energy compared with what is normal for you.
If you or anyone you are isolating with are experiencing any of these symptoms or have been diagnosed with/suspect that you have coronavirus, you are advised NOT to book or attend the clinic. If you need further assistance please call 111 and follow their advice. If you would like to book an appointment or discuss your treatment, please ring or text me on 07779013870
Thank you for your cooperation, patience and understanding in advance and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Stay safe and well, Bethan.
